Big Bang Day!

Amazing, this really mega project, a 27km-long tunnel which houses the Large Hadron Collider that took 30 long years and 4 times than the initiall budget is finally complete and up and running

It is indeed an exciting frontier in science, i think eveyone of us are eagerly waiting to see the first results when the protons collide. i wonder what surprises would nature throw us this time.

Anyway, a salute to all who worked on this. Looks like we will indeed one day hitch hike out to the galaxy, yeah, i am sure Douglas Adams's fans would.
