Another blood donation Sunday! 30,000th packet of blood collected by HYS today which is equivalent of 12 years of countinuous hardwork and support of all the members and volunteers. Well done to all who has contributed to this really great achievement! :)
I read this article "Monash University Stealthily Steals Malaysian Wealth, Pride and Self respect with Pollard's Hidden Agenda " with interest. Well, i have to admit, i have read this with a tint skepcism., i have not check the validity of this bloke's claims and how much of it is truth or just pure malice. The only certain i know for a fact is that "All Western nations (US, UK, Australia) have strong policies on employment, insisting that foreigners are hired only when qualified locals are not available". Yup, i always feel that nothing wrong with that, as you got to protect local graduates. But at least with this policy you know when you are hiring a foreigner, you are getting the best of the crop. What i don't like about this system is that i heard that in some of the countries, there is a quota system too to control the number of foreigners. Why? you are killing the goose that lay the golden egg! I have no qualms of Malaysia employing foreigners of high calibre, there's so much that you can learn from these experts. But we got to make sure, double/triple check is money well spent! I do not know how Singapore do it, but they seem to be doing very well in this aspect.
i am quite saddened by what is happening in Tibet V China. All these killings are so damm unneccessary! So is what is happening in Iraq, Afgan, Isreal, etc, etc, etc....All i know is A kill B, then B wants revenge and kill C, and C wants to wants revenge and kills some other fellow D and it just keeps going on and on and on! From young, we were taught to make friends, not enemy, i just wish all the "POWER" nations would just use the military budget to help the ppl of their so called enemy. Yes, I am suggesting that you go into your enemy country with no guns, but food, raw material to build houses, bridges everything to help them. And trust me, in the long run, it is cheaper and you will gain a friend and you have a army of happy soldiers.
The world will be a happier place! oh ya.. Jolie Pitt gave 8 Million to charity last year!
